Looking at one of these setups and since I have never been able to get the stock locking diff to work, I was wondering if a powertrax no-slip locker will work in the axle of the trd off road?

Not sure, but they are designed to go into a true open diff. So I'd say there's a good chance it won't work.

But if you swapped in a true open, the powertrax is an awesome tool, especially for mostly off-road use. Not really a DD thing. Also works well on dragstrip vehicles.

Your e-locker doesn't work? That's a pretty big issue, and your truck is new. I would be trying to nail that immediately.

Probably know this but it has to be in 4 low to work. Which sucks.

Get the stock locker to work, how many mile on your truck. If it's still under warrenty, have the dealer fix it. And yes you can put a locker in a traction control diff, it just doesn't slip anymore.

Yeah I went through the owners manual trying to get it to work and it still wouldn't lock. I live about 45 min from the closest dealer and use my truck as a dd so it's kind of hard to leave it there while they look at it.

A No-Slip seems like an awful downgrade from factory e-locker considering you already paid for it. I don't see how you're not marching in there right now.

I have ran many powertrax in Jeeps and installed them for friends in full size trucks. They take a little getting used to.
I also suggest getting the factory e-locker to work. You will pay over 300 for the Powertrax and then have to do the install.
No it will not work with the e-locker carrier setup! you will have to purchase an "open" carrier and also bearings and possibly shims to align the carrier correctly.
I would think you would be able to fix your e-locker for less than installing something different!
How about a little trouble shooting on your current setup?
We may be able to figure this out!

    Good Luck

What happens when you try to lock the rear diff? Any lights flashing?

I owned one in my f150 and I will never buy another one again. Between all the noisy clanking around it chirps tires around corners even if your not going that fast and ate a bit of my mpg.
