This thing has barely been out of the house! I have sent two test messages. Requires yearly subscription plan. If you go out in the wilderness, away from any other people or cell service; this unit could save your life in an emergency and give your wife peace of mind during a long trip! These sell for $130 new on Amazon. Asking $115.00 shipped anywhere in the lower 48. Located in Maumelle, AR.

    Read about it here: http://www.findmespot.com/en/index.php?cid=100

If it didn't require a rate plan I'd be all over that. Hell I live close to you and would just pick it up. But at $149 a year I don't think I would get the use out of it. I would love to have it but the sub is a killer. GLWS :)

Thanks man! You can also pay $14.99 monthly, but have to sign a year agreement.

Yeah, I saw that. I truly would love to have it but would only "really" need it a couple times a year. The SOS function reminds me of the Breitling emergency watches. A device like that sure would have helped Aron Ralston.
