turning signal chirping

hello,
ive noticed in the past week when my turning signal is on, a faint chirping sound can be heard. turning left and right cause this and it sounds like its coming from the dash. guesing this is an electronic issue. if anybody has some ideas please let me know.

 

you have a flasher relay under there that needs replacing.

if that is not it, then it could be a short in your trailer lights wiring harness module that adds a trailer plug near the bumper hitch

 

switched out the relay with another and it still did the chirping. must be the other. thanks for the info

 

first cut the wires before where they go into that little module thing in between the plug and the tail light wiring harness (leave enough to reconnect it if its not the problem) this will confirm that it is the problem or not and if it is then before buying a new one for $40 look at this:
