Plug the RCA's into the middle set of connectors. Then set the output on the deck to make sure it knows it's a sub out, instead of rear speakers. That way it won't fade when you adjust the fader.

I have the Sound Ordinance mentioned above paired with stock speakers and an Alpine cde--154BT. The alpine allows you to set the equalizer and crossovers with your an iphone app. Awesome right? Well, if you know what you're doing, sure!

This is my latest setup... Any tips or anything? Am I way off?8emu2e4a_21b3cb68da6c88ab470e607732093cd8230e6f15.jpg

Looking at new door speakers for my truck (I wouldn't mind tweeters either as they are built in the upper part of the door) as the stock speakers start to distort at the volume I like for cruising 55 with 2 windows down.
I have a Sony HU and sound ordnance sub, any speaker and amp suggestions?

I just replaced my factory speakers with Kenwood 3-way6x9's in the front and 6.5's in the rear. I've had a Kenwood HU and SO powered sub for a while and finally upgraded the factory speakers. Wish i would have done it a long time ago. I left the factory tweeters installed.

I would suggest using Crutchfield since they will tell you what fits and they also provide the wiring harness and speaker brackets for free.

Anyone know the speaker wire colors for the front doors of a DCSB? Trying to wire wakeboard speakers to my tube doors.

Sorry, I didn't take note of the wire color when I changed out speakers. You should be able to find it on the tweeter when you pull the panel off.

Driver's side is pink and purple and twisted together, the rest just run side by side. Will update on passenger side when I get the door off.

Quick question, my 2011 4x4 double cab has the factory head unit. It paired with my phone for making calls, but will not play audio (Pandora, etc). When I press the aux/CD button, it only goes to the CD's. Does the bluetooth support audio? My phone says it's paired.

    thanks!

does your radio have a separate source input for bluetooth? i know my 2013 factory radio treated bluetooth as an input separate from CDs.

There's not a button for Bluetooth, no. There is an aux jack below, by the 12V.. But I was hoping that pairing meant for phone and music.

Should my Marv sub cabinet be bolted to the back wall, or just left "floating behind the seat?

Is anyone else running the Alpine INE-W940 indash GPS & Bluetooth and if so do you know how hard is it to switch the rear camera output from the rearview mirror to the deck?

    Nope.

Which is one of the MANY reasons I am (hopefully) replacing my HU tomorrow. This radio is hugely disappointing. It can't even download my address book from my phone. I've seen HU's from 2011 and earlier that could. I've also seen them able to play music through BT. This HU is about as basic as you can get.

Although the phone ringing at ear bleeding full volume is a real treat. People have complained about the sound quality from the mic too.

Sure, it sounds good (I have the JBL system), but man, no thanks. It's also been acting up lately, so it's time.
