    Hello all,

I did some research and I'm pretty comfortable with this, but I'd like a second opinion if you could.

    I'm looking at a set of wheels for my 06 Pre-Runner. I have a leveling kit on it, 2 1/2" front and 1" rear. I'm looking at a set of Raceline Raptor's. I don't want to pretend I have a 4x4. I just like the level look and want some good looking wheels. The specs are as follows;

    Wheel Diameter: 16 in.
    Wheel Width (in): 8.000 in.
    Wheel Material: Aluminum
Manufacturers Wheel Series: Raceline Raptor Series
    Backspacing (in): 4.500 in.
    Offset: 0.00mm
Lug Nut Seat Style: Conical seat - 60 degree
    Hub Centric: No
Center Bore Diameter (in): 4.250 in.
    Center Bore Diameter (mm): 107.95mm

I'm running 265/75R16's Firestone Destination AT's now. I plan to keep them for a while. Well over half the life left.

Question is, can I put these wheels on the truck without spacers. My only concern is the wider width and back spacing. Any input will be appreciated. Thanks a million.

Here's the wheel. I really like the look.

You'll clear just fine, I was running 17x9 with -12 offset moto metals which is 4.5 inch back spacing on my 06 sport 4wd with no lift. Tires were 265/70/17 terra grapplers with no lift and I didn't rub at all.

I agree, get a -12 offset and you should be good.

I just put 17x8's with 4.5 inch backspacing on my truck. 265/70/17 tires, 2 inch lift, no rubbing.

16x8, 4.5" bs and very minimal rubbing with 285s.

Shouldn't have any issues with 265s

Perfect. I ordered them tonight. Should take a few days. Once I get them mounted, I'll post a picture.

    Thanks for the input.

I run these wheels on my truck with the same size tire with no spacers and have no rubbing. They are great wheels and look good on the truck.

Well, here they are. They turned out better than I could have hoped. The back spacing is not an issue at all. I'll post a picture looking down the side of the truck. I like it. It looks meaner and squatier, as my wife would say.

The only issue is the center caps. Three of them have chrome centers with black lettering and one has a black center with chrome lettering. I sent an e-mail to them. We'll see how well they handle the matter.

There is a minor rub on the front of the fender liner when I an full crank to the right. No big thing.

    Here's some picture's.

Not 100% but shouldn't those wheels be hubcentric?

When I ordered them, I asked that. They said they are lug centric and will work fine. I bought the lug nuts from the same place. They called them Gorilla nuts and have a lifetime guarantee. The wheel store said they balanced out beautifully and mounted no prob.

Thanks man. If I was all color matched like yours, I would have loved to do some black wheels. But with the chrome grill and bars, it made sense.
    Nice ride, by the way.

Did you guys have any trouble fitting those wheels? I have a 2010 5 lug tacoma and the manufacturer of the wheels said that they didn't require a center ring, but the tire shop that put the wheels on said they did need a center ring. It just so happens that the size for the center ring I need is very hard to find. I have the Raceline Matte black raptor wheels, 16in.

I didn't have any issues mounting my Raptors but I have a six lug. Don't know if that makes a difference or not. I also didn't need a center ring with mine. Good luck.

My Cepeks aren't hub centric either and they are perfectly fine. Not a hint of a shake or shimmy in 30k miles.
