Hey guys, I'm new to the whole lift/leveling kit thing and I have a few questions. I just got my second Tacoma a 2015 4 door PreRunner V6 and I want to get some bigger tires and new wheels. I was also thinking about doing a 3 inch lift or a front end leveling kit.

So I am wanting to run either 285/75/16s or 265/75/16s, but this is where I need help. I was thinking about getting the "Pro Comp 2.25 Inch Leveling Kit" and was hoping that is all I would need to do, to run 285s. If not, I was thinking about going the 3" lift route and getting the "ProComp Nitro 3 Inch Lift Kit". I've read about lifting and the different ways to go, I don't really go off road to much, I surf, so I do drive on the beach a lot but I will be taking my truck on long road trips to visit my family in Texas, so I want something that will not cause other issues in the long term.

I've also been reading about wheel specs for my model/year and I like the Pro Comp Series 5001, 16x8 6 on 5.5 bolt pattern with offset at 0 and backspace 4.5. Are those the correct specs to fit my truck with no further alterations?

Below are links to what I am thinking about getting. Any advise on this stuff would be super appreciated! Thanks guys.

    Pro Comp 5001 16x8 Wheels: http://www.4wheelparts.com/Wheels/S...=PXA5001-6883&Manufacturer_PQ=Pro+Comp+Wheels

    Either the Duratrac 285s: http://www.4wheelparts.com/Tires/LT...ufacturer_PQ=Goodyear+Tires&Style_PQ=Duratrac

or the Duratrac 265s: (depending on what you guys think) http://www.4wheelparts.com/Tires/Je...e_PQ=Duratrac&Most+Popular+Sizes_PQ=265x75R16

and then either the 2.25" leveling kit: http://www.4wheelparts.com/Lift-Kit...it.aspx?t_c=1&t_s=358&t_pt=9333&t_pn=EXP65205

or the 3" lift kit: http://www.4wheelparts.com/Lift-Kit...t.aspx?t_c=1&t_s=358&t_pt=9333&t_pn=EXP65205K

I've added a picture of what my truck looks like right now (right after I plasti dipped my stock steelies)

Pro comp nitro. It comes with all new hardware so for long term you won't have to replace anything from bad joint angles or anything like that. Plus the ride will be better for your long trips. Spend the extra money and do it right
