    The vertical viewing angle of the picture determines the color, if viewed on a LCD screen. It is easily demonstrated on a laptop or tablet. Tilt the screen, and the image color changes.

    True display devices, like plasma and CRT, do not have off-center viewing problems, so they show as blue and black.
