I parked my truck Friday night on my driveway (a slight hill). This afternoon I tried to start it and it would wind and wind and never fire.
So just a little bit ago, I tried it again and still nothing. It seemed like it wasn't getting any gas, so I poured a small shot in the intake and voila, it started easily. And it stayed running and ran good. I moved it to flat ground, and shut it off and started it up easily a couple times. Moved it back up the driveway now it won't start again. Does this sound like a fuel pump going bad?

    Could be a few things.

    Fuel pump
    Fuel line
    Fuel pressure regulator

Those are the top 3 things that come to mind, assuming that it IS a fuel problem.

Thanks! I'm not familiar with the regulator, but it seems if something was wrong with the line it wouldn't continue to run after I poor gas in the intake, right?

If the regulator is allowing fuel pressure to bleed back into the tank, emptying the lines, then when you put fuel into the intake and got it running, the fuel pump will have filled the lines back up. It's not the most viable option, but it is a possibility, thus why I mentioned it.
