Aloha New here n I couldn't find a thread exactly saying if it was or was not possible to rebuild fabtech 2.0 shocks could anyone tell me if it is possible or even worth it?
Also I need to stiffen my rear end I will be hauling 200+ gallons of diesel fuel. My truck has a 6" fabtech 3 body with adjustable fantech coils up front n is blocked in the rear. I was thinking about putting air bags on it cause I wont always need the extra stiffness. But does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be best maybe take out the block n change the leafs. Money is an issue air bags would cost me little under 500$ that's probly around the budget. Also if I do instal air bags would it be vital to get the shocks fixed or would the airbags help sabalize the rear. It has a bit of a wave when going over bumps n dips? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My truck 07 4door

Your referring to the Fabtech 2.25" Dirt logic shocks? You could email them and see - their tech reps are quick to respond. Might end up easier to just purchase a new set of shocks which will eliminate the 'wave' your talking about.

Here are the measurements of the fabtech shocks:
    28.03 Extended / 17.99 Collapsed

I'd save up and switch out the leafs for an aftermarket pack to bring your rear end up to par. Air bags won't do much unless you need them for carrying a load. I ran custom springs from ALCAN when I was running a 6" lift.

Swapping out my rear dirt logics with Fox resi's hopefully this makes a difference. Also will be installing the airbags soon as I HAul 300gl of fuel at least 3x a week. But still would like to uprgrade my leafs to get rid of the blocks. Anyone know what's the best bang for my buck leaf pack size? I'm debating on going down to my local spring shop n having them put together a custom pack for me. Also can anyone explain how is it that my TRUCK has a 6" suspension in the front but only 3" blocks in the rear how does that add up? N yes it's level or am I wrong about how high the front is.. it's a procmp dd with adjustable fabtech coils. I'm really new to these independents.

Tacomas have a factory rake. Fabtech uses an AAL and block. I had alcan springs on mine, expensive but worth while.
