Stereo system TAKE TWO!

ask ZMan2k2 , He built a box to house 2 Shok triton 12s and loves it.
You can make his box a tad bigger by buying 4 longer bolts and tossing a small 1 inch spacer between the back cross member and the bracket. I believe it gives you the ability to build a box which top hight is around 4 or 4.5 inches

 

How's the box building going?

 

Alright, let me get this straight so I'm not missing anything when I start installing.
I need: sound deadening, power & ground wire RCA cords, speaker & turn on wire. Head unit, steering wheel controls retainer, amps, distribution block, fuse holder & fuses. Do I need any fittings or anything like that?

My plan is to go with a single 8 inch ported Triton behind the seat so I am following everything thats getting done here .Thats if I dont beat you to it haha .

Still have 3 feet of snow here mind you , so I am hoping for warmer weather before I start gutting the truck . Some of our components will be the same .
Good luck with the project and take a bunch of pictures for me .
