I just wanted to post how stoked I am with my truck right now. I have done a bunch of upgrades as it was time to refresh the truck.

I bought the truck in 2008 as it is a 2006 5 spd 2.7 cylinder.

Here is what I did when I bought it.

    - 5100's
    - Husky floor liners
    - Ipod hook up
    - 2.5 " lift
    - fog lights

After watching the new 2016 pics and hearing the guys talk about the new truck they did not say they were going to do anything to the 4 cylinder engine so I decided to just keep what I got.

I think the best part about all my upgrades as that I got everything used on Tacoma World. Thanks everybody!

Here is what I have done:

    - Leer shell
    - Yakima Racks (Craigslist)
    - LED tail lights
    - tow hook TRD in front
    - New headlights (courtesy of Toyota)
    - Seat covers
    - Pioneer head unit 5500 with Blue Tooth, best thing ever
    - New shift knob ( ebay)
    - all white grill
    - steering wheel cover (from auto parts store)
    - LED lights inside the truck

Here is what I am going to do in the next 2 weeks:

Avid off road Bar in front
New tires are coming in the next year as I can't decide what to get as I drive 90% highway and 10% off road.

Here is my campsite in Baja. My truck did so great off road as it handled all the rocks and sand perfectly. The sand was pretty deep in some areas and it did just great.

Nice truck. That 4cyl/5MT combo should make it last forever right?

Hope so. My only problem will be that my kids will outgrow the back which will make me sell the truck and get something bigger.
