I have a 3" lift I'm gonna put on and was leaning towards getting 20" XD grenade with a -44 offset and 33" tires. Anyone have any pictures of their Tacoma with similar specs? Or pictures with 18" wheels to change my mind?

Just look at the build thread
    Go with 16s or 17s.

At TW we like our big sidewalls. Very few people here will give you recommendations on big wheels.

A few OE parts from fancy trucks
Bigger sidewall improves off road function.

Bigger wheels/lower profile tires tend to be seen more at the mall.

So determining the prime use of your truck should help you decide?

Also consider total weight (wheel/tire combo) does matter in many areas of performance. Your choices may add up to the same answer. Or not.

Down here in TX you 2wd guys like those big rims. If you plan on hitting the trail with any enthusiasm, I'd go 18. I have 18's and I haven't had any issue with bombing down trails and some 4 wheeling. If I was going to do any serious rock crawling I'd definitely want more sidewall and my 18's might have to go.

I don't either. I have to drive the truck on Mondays. I'm running E rated tires which is overkill, but I really don't worry too much about the tires where I'm driving.
