I have tried to decipher which Pop and Lock option is the best for me, but its confusing.

I am looking for a pop and lock with a key lock left of the tailgate handle, and also integrates with my keyless remote. And that has a place to install my factory backup camera right of the handle.

    Does this exist?

I could be wrong, but I dont believe there is a kit that is specific to a manual and a electric lock. You get one or the other. Now, you could install the electric lock and add the manual key handle. The problem will be that unless the electric lock is unlocked, the keyed lock will be rendered useless when unlocked because the electric lock will still be locked. Did you get all that? Lol. The electric lock swings an arm out to prevent the handle from opening.

You can get a keyed lock that allows use of the truck back up camera.

I have the pop and lock 8521 electric. It's tied into the keyless entry wiring and uses the factory tailgate handle.

I have the 8521 and it is just a electric solenoid that uses the factory handle. It in my opinion is the best option. You dont change anything just add it on to the tailgate and wire it up. Uses you factory key fob to lock and unlock. Its great. A bit loud but whatever.

Ok, I ordered an 8521. Sounds like that is my best option.

    Thanks!

I think I will be ordering the same thing. Not having a key lock showing up on the handle will be nice also.
