    Hello TT Gurus,

Today, I went to adjust the Cruise Control Release Switch under the dash of my 96 Tacoma, and I accidentally BROKE the electrical plug off the switch in the process.

During this time, the ignition was ON. I was also playing the radio. I never would of had the ignition on if I knew I would have broken the plug in the process.

AS A RESULT, the Tach, Water temp., clutch cancel switch and fan do not work. Also, the battery light came on and will not go off.

Now, the battery is dead because I drove the truck to the grocery store.

Did I blow some fuses? I checked only a few because it was getting dark.
    They seemed fine.

Could I have blown both an alternator fuse and some dash/instrument fuses?

Please help. My phenomenally reliable 96 Tacoma is now immobile with a dead battery.

    JTM
