Okay so the truck in question runs like brand new. From a cold start it starts first try every time. Sometimes this condition will not occur but most of the time it will. When the truck is up to temp if I turn it off and it sits from 1-2 minutes or even sometimes 45 minutes it often does not like to start. It will either briefly turn over and die, or it will start but idle at about 300 rpms. If I tap the gas while it's idling low it picks right up and runs normal.

I think I have found a way to prevent this from occurring. If I cycle the switch on and off twice to prime the pump a couple of times it so far always starts normal. I am thinking the pump is fine but maybe the fuel pressure regulator our fuel filter. What do you guys think? It's an auto by the way.
