Ive got a 06 Double cab tacoma all stock, I'm getting a light hum and vibration thats happening on and off, almost feels like something is in the tire but different. Not sure what this could be? Don't feel it when i speed up but that just could be harder to notice.

Does it seem to vib at a set rpm, like 1000-1500rpm?

Wheel bearing or you threw a balance weight from the wheel.

Any chance that there IS something in the tire?? balance beads, water/ice beads etc.?? Try jacking up each tire, spin and feel the tire tread as it rotates - Noisy? Bearing noise? Out of Round? Tread feathered? Something falling around inside?

I think this may be the case. What is the mileage on the truck OP? I have been having the same issue and from reading posts around here, the wheel bearings seem to go out early anywhere from 60k to 90k, and need to be replaced.

Ya, I have checked the tires......Im going to jack it up today and take a better look. I had a feeling it was the bearing so will have to check that out next, it's not necessarily a rpm it's more when I'm coasting and up to speed (possibly because that's the only time I can here it). I appreciate the replies!
