I've been using a dash cam for about 6 months now and in that time I've recorded some sheer human stupidity in action. After yet another close call today, I thought I'd start a thread about it.

    Thread Rules:

Only post video or video grabs from YOUR personal dash cam. No Liveleak, Youtube, et. al videos that you just stumbled across. I only want to see stuff that you or your Taco (like if your wife was driving your truck) experienced.

So let's see if we can get any entertaining examples of human stupidity in action.

Here's an idiot I caught the day after I started using my dash cam.

    https://youtu.be/vhmj6JpQFMg

Here's a moron that sideswiped me 2 months later. (volume warning)

    https://youtu.be/p1VTshfIZNE

My last entry for today is this senior citizen that almost caused a head on collision. I was on my way back to work when this guy went full retard at an intersection. *sigh*

Its a "0801 Ambarella A2S60" w/ GPS & no internal storage. You can get it w/o GPS and/or up to 32G of internal storage. The only thing I don't like about it is the external storage max capacity is only 32G. I got it off eBay for under $80 delivered. Just beware of fakes if you go the fleabay route.

Here's one from today. I should have anticipated this asshole's lane change. Even worse, I departed from my lane to avoid him and could have hit a car to my left. Thankfully, there was no one in the lane to my left.

Check your volume, I was cussing loudly at the end...

Totally worth the investment. I had a check in hand 2 weeks after my last fender bender, when I caught the last driver who hit me on my dashcam. There was absolutely no dispute. I even got the driver admitting fault on my dashcam after we pulled over (it has a microphone built in).

    Nice!

Do you have yours hardwired in, or do you use the cigarette plug? I'm thinking about doing my add-a-fuse and having it only run when the truck is on.
