Wasn't really sure where to put this. I am looking for a simple solution.
Project: Additional backup lighting, and also another 3rd(4th actually) Brakelight.

Is there a "plug and play" harness that I can buy? I have a trailer hitch, and the factory trailer light harness. What I am wanting to do, is put power to the brakelight, and the auxillary BU lights and I am trying to NOT cut/splice/jerryrig the wiring of it.

SO, I am looking to add another trailer plug wiring into the mix. Any suggestions? Ideas? or do I just cut an splice. Just needing a brake circuit, and the BU light circuit. so a flat 4 way wont work.000

I have looked into this. What receptacle does your truck have, what plug does the trailer have. If truck is a 7 and trailer is 4 (use adapter) it can be done w/ no real splicing.

Truck has 7 way. Boat trailer has a 7way on it also. What I am looking for is trailer wiring harness that I can plug into the existing harness(extra) and I will use the wires off this one, to power the new lights. I may just splice into the existing hitch plug wires. have checked a couple parts stores, and cant seem to come up with what I want.

Not sure I get what you are after unless you are wanting to just put on new lights. Only way I can see is to splice if I am reading right

Yep. That is pretty much becoming the general answer. I am definitely not used to the separate brakelight and turn signal thing. Splicing it is I guess.
