Hi guys. So I'm sure it's been asked a million times so I thank you for putting up with me.
So I love my Tacoma. I don't haul a lot, just small things. The occasional trailer. So the 2.7 liter 4 banger is great. My only problem with it is the lack of power. I'm sure my exhaust gives one or two horses, but I'd like to find a way to make a few more. Hills and getting out into traffic can be dangerous if you can't speed up very quickly. But reliability is a big concern for me. I drive my truck every day.
So what would be your suggestions and opinions both on adding a little power and how to go about it?
    Thanks guys

Trade for a 4.0 V6 Tacoma. Not trying to be a jerk, just do not think there is any other real answer.

I would agree. There are lots of people who want the 4 banger for the perceived fuel economy so if you need the power just trade up.
