Lifeproof cases

Mine doesn't keep water out completely anymore... I've got a pretty good gouge in the plastic screen protector that could be what's causing it. Not sure though.

 

if you get any sort of kink in the front plastic where it meets the side wall, it's done. i was a huge fan until that happened. makes it completely useless.

I think that's why they tell you in the instructions to " walk " the cover back and forth when seperating the two pieces

 

thanks, but i'm not an idiot. it happened from simply being in my pocket.

 

I never said you were an idiot , how do you fold the case and get a crease in it with the phone in the case ?

 

sorry. maybe i read sarcasm where there wasn't any.
i didn't fold the case. the screen just got a tiny miniscule kink (like a tiny bend) in it. the o-rings around the front will never keep water out after that, no matter how you try to flatten it. over a year's time, i had several. as much time as i spend on the water, it proved to be a money-wasting buy.

I'm a carpenter and my Iphone is always in my back pocket or rattling around in my belt and I haven't had any issues and I've had the same Fre since just after they were released

 

They should be pretty good they sure are pricey.

 

My 10 month old son got ahold of mine yesterday and completely ruined the case.

 

Love the case for my 6.

Any else's headphone adapter crapped out on them?

 

No but quite often my phone stays stuck on " headphone " volume mode for a while after I remove the adapter

 

That's just cosmetic , as long as the O ring seal is still good it's fine

 

Where the top of the plastic is is open now. I could probably stick a toothpick in the little opening.

I've had a LifeProof on my previous 2 phones. Waiting for the iPhone 6 cases to stock up enough that LP issues a promo code. I've had the Fre and the Nuud. Pros and cons to both, but the biggest is I like being able to touch the glass with the Nuud, but that means you can't control it under water (start/stop video, take a photo, etc).

 

Maybe you all can help me here. I gave up my android yesterday and am perfectly happy with my new 6+ however the only case I see from lifeproof is the nuud but it shows the water icon on the website any idea

 

I've sent my wife's back for warranty a few times. Their warranty is awesome. No questions asked. You just have to take pics of the damage.
