i am now considering the Pioneer DMH-W4660NEX which is still bigger then my opening its dimensions are 9" wide by 5 1/8" tall which is still going to require cutting Mark mjkward@yahoo.com
Aloha Seth Do you have any pictures of the way your milled out bezel looked with the Pioneer DMH-WC6600NEX receiver looked ?? I actuall have a 2018 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab Pickup with the standard Encore I stereo. The opening in my current bezel is only 8 3/8" wide by 4 3/8" so i am not sure that much bigger screen will fit at all
Hey Seth. Saw your thread on the pioneer head unit and was hoping I could get the STL file for the router template you made to fit the C5500 into the standard bezel (not premium). Would really appreciate it!
Out of curiosity, do you still have the Pioneer c5500nex unit? Also, how is it different from the 6600 besides wireless CarPlay?
It's a smaller lower resolution screen and does not have wireless AA or CP and no Alexa built in. That being said. The 6600 is too wide for the 2nd gen and there is a dash kit for the 5500 for the 2nd gen. If you wanted the newer model I would go with the 7600 as it is a floating screen design.
Yeah I got that part, I need the 7600 or the 4660nex which would be 6.8" display flush, if I want the new model. Did you sell your 5500?
