Anyone with experience have thoughts on this? Is it toast or can it be repaired?

And the first thing I did was wipe the top of the module to get the dust off it and that took the printed part number and info off, rotted I guess.

Opened mine up the other day and found the same. I'm considering mine toast and am searching for a replacement. Part number is 89170-35010

Found a used one on eBay and ordered it yesterday. Will update if it works. Good luck with yours.
