    SAS, OME 3" lift
Here's my trusty '91 x-cab, 22re (145k miles) with an '85 4runner front axle swap and 3" suspension lift (paid $5k for the truck and did the SAS for $2k):

Makes more sense $-wise to take care of needed minor rust/body work, follow with a custom paint job and get a set of 33's under it (all for around $3000) than to consider buying a 1st gen Tacoma $15000 plus.

I just got my 2001 with 100k according to the seller. Went to toyota.com to verify the mileage and there was a record of 160k, and then 4 years later the 100k, so I don't know the real mileage. When I confronted the guy he felt very bad. I think he was set up too. But why didn't he check it? He did lower the price substantially. I looked at all the other parts of the truck and thought is was still worth the lowered price. So I bought it, And I don't regret it (yet).
But I also used to be a mechanic. And it has some issues, but nothing I can't fix.

But yes, people lie to make a buck.
