I’ve been riding motorcycles for 25 years and this is my first Harley. My dad always tried to get me to buy one every time I was looking for a new bike. This was his bike he passed away early this year and I got his Harley. 9DF2AA00-DB54-496F-98CF-FD1B04386E8D.jpg 95EB5574-50BE-4B77-BA7E-4690F825D103.jpg I’ve been a sport touring rider for a long time and sport bikes before that, I like power and speed with a bit of comfort. Well the Geezer Glide has comfort in spades but that’s about it.

Its got a few things that need to be addressed, air shocks have a very slow leak and they just suck, oil pressure switch, need to check the steering head bearings and brake flush. Clutch might be getting towards end of life.

    Mods I know it has-
    Rinehart True duals
    Mikuni Carb
Screaming eagle variable clutch pressure kit
    Hogtunes amp and speakers
    Hogtunes Bluetooth unit(I added this)
    Rich’s custom seat

So far I’ve changed the oil, adjusted the clutch, replaced choke cable, added Bluetooth and ridden the heck out of it. I’m sold. Maybe it’s because it was my dads but I love riding it.

The desire for more power is real!!!! I can’t leave shit alone so I’m looking at engine upgrades. Bigger is better right?
Do I need it? No. Do I want it? Yes. first and foremost I will get all the maintenance finished then I will find a shop to tune the carb a bit. It’s definitely rich. It has the stock Harley choke which Mikuni says is a big no no. I’ll be replacing that and see if it affects anything.

Replaced the H-D choke cable with Mikuni one this afternoon. Took a little less than an hour. Works like it should now. Oh well at least it works.
