Bought a used ‘18 limited in magnetic gray a week ago. It came with the OEM tonneau cover and some aftermarket step bars. Some quick observations for those who may care:
    • Definitely drives and feels like a truck. I thought I wasn’t going to like that, but it turns out I like it a lot.
    • Size is great. Parks like a mid size car/SUV. Easy to get in and out of tight spots.
    • Definitely finding the need to step on the gas on uphill climbs and highway acceleration. But it responds, albeit with some delay. Minor issue for me. If I wanted super nimble response, I would have gotten a BMW sedan.
    • Took it on a 4-hour trip, 4 people on board, with loaded bed, added a hitch tray w/ more stuff and no problems. Averaged 21-22 MPG which was a nice surprise.
    • Towed a 21’ boat trailer and also a loaded utility trailer with tree trunks. No problems at all.
    • I’m really glad I splurged for the limited. The leather, sunroof and the JBL sound are pretty nice. For me that was important.
    • Factory tonneau cover is surprisingly robust and keeps the bed dry.
    • Step bars make the truck look bigger than it is (which I like), but they are completely useless and actually make it harder to get in and out of the cab.
    • I find that I now despise anyone who doesn’t drive a Tacoma. Is this a normal symptom?
