WHO WANTS TO TRADE 35’s for my 37’s?

Anyone looking for 5 Yokohama geolander 37’s? I should probably switch back to 35’s because the truth is that I don’t see myself properly tubbing the truck or overhauling the steering of the truck. Would be willing to sell all 5 beadlocks with currently balanced 37’s / trade for a set of 35’s. Let me know if this peaks anyones interest.

 

Well boys IVE GONE SOFT & couldn’t be happier. I’ve DOWNSIZED back to 35’s and happened to find a wonderful deal on some limited SCS brushed bronze 17x9 -38 with 315/70 c load ko2’s. Thanks to @65skyturbo for the deal, he is a gentleman & a scholar & basically my neighbor. I can’t escape the reality that I have 3 small children & my truck is used as a daily commuter and adventure mobile for camping & wheeling. The truck drives like a Camry right now thanks to this wheel and tire combo & I know I’m not pushing the limit of reliability especially when I take the kids with me places. I still need to tub the firewall and would still like to do slide rack and maybe the Howe pump from JD fab but for now the truck is just unbelievably comfortable. I have no regrets with how I’ve done things. I’ve learned a lot along the way & I think that the truck will stay on 35’s for many years to come. I’d like to bring the @ss down with a stage 1 icon RXT leaf pack & even lower the front a tad also. That will hopefully come soon.

Wheels look great on there. The icon rxt leaf pack was one of my favorite purchases to date. I had it on option 1 and ended up changing it up to option 2. I also have my truck sitting pretty low/level. I have a soft topper, spare, pro eagle and a toolbox full of tools in the bed. Just wanted to save you the hassle of having to pull the leaf pack after install to go to option 2 if you carry similar weight like I had to do.

 

Truck looks GREAT, man. That is very helpful info. I think that option 1 will be so perfect for me though, because my rear bumper is probably a big lighter than a plate bumper, i won’t have a spare in the bed (for the first time in years), no topper, no toolbox. When I go wheeling I’ll have one tote full of fluids and tools and when I go camping I’ll have several totes and a little bit of weight but shouldn’t be anything major. As a DD I’ll have an empty bed, so just my light bumper. I even removed my donut spare and mounting mechanism which is a few more pounds. Funny you mention all this. - I threw 4 40lb bags of salt pellets in the bed just for the truck to ride a little better and sit a tad lower to hold me over till icon springs lolllll

 

I really appreciate it. You’ll be perfect for option 1 then. I loved how it rode with it on that option but when loaded down for wheeling trips it was just too much. So flexy off-road with option 1 though. Still is with 2 but it was just so amazing on 1.

 

Siiiiick. I am pretty stoked for the swap. After I sell my 37’s I will probably grab a pair of the icons from Amazon

 

how are you liking the rear Bilstein's? I'm still gathering parts for my build but those are the ones that I want for the rear when I get there. Have you had to service/replace them since you first got them?

 

These shocks have been amazing. No complaints whatsoever. They ride fine & they stretch REAL long being 14” short bodies I don’t really loose any uptravel. With where my mounts are welded it’s perfect honestly. And IIRC I got the pair of them for $650 OTD which is a sick deal

Yes serviceable but I’m not worried about them personally. Will keep an eye on it. Something funny that happened with mien was that one of them was pretty much empty of nitrogen so I had to find a shop to fill it. Not a big deal but had to do that when I put them in

 

I run them as well in a 14” short body and they have been awesome. I have fox 2.5’s up front and everything works great together.

 

Sorry to thread jack... but what valving do you run in the Billies with the extra weight you carry?

They are valved 255/70 which is perfect in my opinion.

 

That rear bumper needs to be in production. I love it.

 

It’s a one off from my favorite fabricator Joe G (GMG fab). Def not a bolt on sort of deal. I couldn’t be happier with it. She’s TUKT
