‘Maintenance Required’ light - windshield crack??

    Bed cover, soon bug deflector, halo interior lights and backup
    You can try and fix the crack. There are kits out there. I used one and you’ll never know. Second one on wife’s windshield and that’s not visible either. I’d either use a kit or have a pro use their kit.

    That chip is borderline too big for a DIY project. But it only costs a little to try it.

    My insurance company will REPAIR cracks and chips at no out of pocket cost for me. If the windshield has to be replaced I can get it done at a reduced price through them. Every insurance is different. Check with them before doing anything.

    Pretty much you can trust anyone except the dealers. They are all terrible.

    Lol my windscreen has 2 of those right now, plus a large horizontal crack across it. I'm on my 3rd windscreen in 5 years. It costs $700 cad to replace, or will increase my insurance premium if I claim it. Not once have I had an error message pop up.
