From a 2014 TRD Sport with 48K miles.

Run them 3.73 as is, or install the gears and lockers you want with no truck downtime, then swap them in and sell your old.

    $500 takes all. Seattle.

OR manual diffs with 4.10 gears. I’m only running 265/75/16s and needed a little more pep for my Vagabond Drifter. Plus I wanted to give the Low Range Offroad wiring harness for the OR diff lock a try.

I have 4.10s on 33" 255s and I have more power than stock. Love the new gears. Good luck with sale

Someone told me OR’s with manual transmissions all had 3.73 gears. All I know is I bolted in diffs from a donor truck that had 4.10 gears, and the rear axle has the e-locker. But I am confused now what the donor truck might have been.

4.10s came in the 4bangers of which no model had the elocker diff. Best bet would be to pull the diff to see what kind of gears are in there.

It’s an elocker with 4.10s. Can’t tell you how it came into being, but it exists, and it’s on my truck now, and there is no need for me to pull the diff. My RPMs verify I’m running 4.10 gears, as does the turn-the-tire-and-count-the-driveshaft-rotations method.

We’re sidetracked. I’m selling a 3.73 geared ‘8.4”’ axle and front diff from my TRD sport, not the 4.10 diffs.

noted. You are the one that said you were curious hence the suggestion. Good luck with the sale, I’d scoop that up if you were on the right coast, damn good price!

I was able to dig up the info from the donor vehicle. It’s a 2007 TRD OR axle housing, with a 2003 e-locker third swapped in, which is plug-and-play. I’m running first-gen 4.10 gears in the rear.
