“Grab Handle” mod for gen 3 Tacoma...anyone?

Has anyone installed grab handles for the driver and passenger seats on a 3rd gen Tacoma? If so, can you post some pics and share how? Thanks! I’ve been wanting to do it but haven’t wanted to mess with the headliner and start drilling without a little more info.

I installed driver side...watched a lot of people on youtube complaining about how hard it was to install...its super easy IF YOU GET M6-1.0 clip at local automotive store...the one that comes with the handle WILL BREAK!

 

There is a new version... V2 I think of the driver side handle... uses a different fastener.

As you research you'll hear horror stories about the vendor... KTJO. Maybe there is a history there, I don't know. I ordered mine a couple of months ago, communication was great & it arrived in days, fit & finish was A1.

 

Same. I used a speed nut instead of the provided rivnut due to user error. Still good even with the speed nut.
