do you know if these help with head clearance when getting in and out of the truck?

I believe that there is only a slight difference in head clearance. As the spacers are at the front of the seat, the geometry is such that the rest of the seat raises somewhat also, but the change in height is obviously less at the back of the seat where your butt is located.

I’ve not had a problem with hitting my head. I’ve shrunk down to the 6’1” range and had a problem with hitting my right shin on the dash a few times in the last two years. I just need to slow down getting into this compact truck, as my last one was a full size.

Olecoot sells rear spacers on the 3rd gen marketplace for the back of the rail. He can also make custom size rear spacers if you want something other than the 1 inch spacers he has in stock.

Before ordering, you can remove the rear bolts and place 1 inch pieces of wood under the rails to see how it feels.

I just stuck two screwdriver handles under the rails for my father-in-law. He liked the additional height, so I ordered 1 inch spacers.

No discount code that I know of.

They are solid pieces so I wouldn’t worry about insurance.

A bonus is that the front of the these blocks have pre-drilled holes for mounting a custom bracket for a flashlight, fire extinguisher, emergency flare tube....or vaping products and supplies.

Just don’t store the vape pens with the flares!

Then I guess my only question is will it interfere with my Husky floor liners? The rear floor liners cover the front seats rear bracket.

I have thought about that. Father-in-law has the stock all weather floor mats which curve around and don’t cover the rails.

I believe there’s a picture on the Olecoot spacer posting in the 3 gen marketplace which shows a mat covering the rail which is raised by a spacer.

You could just leave the plastic rail caps off after installing the spacers as the Husky mats cover the rail anyway.
That might help to keep the front of the mat down.

What is the difference between buying these and just stacking washers?

I bought mine because it used one bolt to secure to the spacer to the floor and another bolt to secure the seat with a hole for the nipple in it.

    A few.
When installing these front spacers, has anyone noticed if the rear brackets tend to bend at all to allow the raising of the seat up front?

If you stack washers at an angle under the rail at the front, the seat rail will be moved forward so the holes at the back of the rail will not line up with the holes in the floor.

These spacers have two holes each. One for a new, longer bolt holding the spacer to the floor, and then a hole for using the old bolt to hold the seat rail to the spacer. They move the seat rail upward, not up and forward.

There’s the cost of about 20 washers plus the cost of longer bolts, and then the look of a bunch of washers stacked 10 high.

And, with the spacers, you also get bracket mounting holes at the front vertical side.

I can’t get over how the seat rises improved the ride quality. I drove my bmw 335 the other day with m3 seats and I thought my truck was more comfortable. Truly amazing the difference made.
