Going back a 10 years NVDA price was $3.61. It's now $269.42. That's 7351% in a decade. Beats AAPL measly 1000% 7 times over. Does that give you guys any idea of why I'm so constantly stoked on them. Yeah. Math. lol

 

Once this whole crypto scam fad dies down and card demand is back to normal we'll see who's up 7,000%!...

I did increase my cash, it’s not losing money so I better put it to work.

 

Did you end up making some profit on GTii?

 

My avg was down to 1.15 or so. I got more to dump though. I sold half, and my little account that was still at 1.4x I got rid of a little above break even.

 

Because it’s never too late to buy high lol

 

I'm still holding 4k shares between the joint and play account. If it ever hits $2 I'll get rid of those. In the IRA I'm fully out of GTii and used that money to average way down on BBIG. I'm 6% underwater on BBIG but I'm betting it goes this week. If shorts can't keep it it under $5 it's gonna move past $6 and $7 pretty quick.

 

BBIG has hit $12 and $10 on the last two big moves. Those weren't backed by any type of spin-off or valuation. It's hard for me to think it won't match or pass those with TYDE PR. I only need it to hit $8.75 to double my cash. I'm verrrrryyyy comfortable with my large position in it.

 

My avg is still a touch above 5. I’ll see how things look Tuesday if I want to make any moves.

 

You sir are a gambling man. As I’ve said many times I stick with Texas Holdem for that. I have this thing about researching a stock and looking at short and long term trends. I see this and think “um, nope!” But good luck!

It likely will for a bit and then back down. But then again… it’s a gamble. You have to ask yourself “do I feel lucky?” I only feel lucky if I’m holding a pair of Aces lol

I'm very risk tolerant since I've got over a decade before I can retire. That said, all my risky moves have been calculated. There are certain times that a stock is very undervalued. I fully believe this is the case with BBIG or I wouldn't be in it. If it plays out the way I believe it will I'll have at least doubled my investment. That in turn will allow me to do something I've always wanted to do. Buy 1000 shares of NVDA. Write 10 covered calls weekly. That's the play that will allow me to retire comfortably. The rest of my trading has always been a means to an end. There is method behind the madness.

really hoping it pays out, but im also really confident that it does. if it doesnt then there is some high level fraud going on. the BOD told shareholders to tender and the company thats trying to take over said they were pleased to see BOD advising share holders to tender......if they decide to back out with only 3 weeks left to tender then i'd be very surprised. it would probably warrant massive lawsuits on behalf of share holders

 

Oh I think you and a lot of others here do your homework on these risky plays, don’t get me wrong. And I won’t be surprised if BBIG hits $6-8, but Also think somewhere in that range it starts falling again. At your cost basis your gamble is not unreasonable.
I did all my higher risk investments years ago but even then it was in a blue chip index funds. Done with higher risks since will semi-retire in 2 weeks. It’s fun to watch from the sidelines as you gents go through all kinds of emotions on the swings though.

Next week will tell whether this BBIG play was worth it. 4 trading days to make or break my 2022. The way everything is aligning I'd like to think that it at least hits $8 by EOW. If BBIG also releases the valuation of Lomo and the TYDE record date all bets are off and FOMO will get it to $10 at least. If I'm wrong? Fuck it. It's only money. lol

 

Maybe I’ll buy 1 share first thing monday morning. Might be able to buy a Big Mac with my play, worst case get a small fry lol
