    Nice machine.

I think using the old fashion percolator coffee pot is what I like best. When I build our next house at my farm, gonna have gas burning stove fo sure.

For black coffee, nothing is smoother than a Chemex.

I'm surprised a lot of things haven't gotten to that point lately. I don't exactly wanna see it happen. Just rather impressed how civil the world has been the past couple years

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
I'm sure they do that on purpose. It is a lot less frustrating to just purchase new. I tried repairing one and found I needed a rather long Phillips just to reach two of the screws. Purchasing the screw driver for this one event seemed ridiculous.

YUP! same. I have HUGE phillips screwdrivers and they still don't reach...I'm sure they have a special one at the factory just for this. AND you'd have to get the damn screw back in.

    I prefer stones:

    https://www.amazon.com/Rabbit-Whisk...35&sprefix=rabbit+whiskey+stone,aps,90&sr=8-1

But honestly, I almost never chill whiskey. Neat, will add some water on blisteringly high proof drams (115 proof and up), but most of the time want to drink it like the chef made it.
