Combine that with MMs just moving all volume off exchange at will and you disappear any lit purchasing that would make the ticker move. Then you just dump the sell volume on the lit exchanges and presto, you now control the price at will.

Yep. That's the desired end game for the shorters. De-listing and they keep all their money and the phantom shares go poof.
See also sears, blockbuster, toys r us, et. al. They still trade on exchanges that us poors aren't allowed access to. HFs can keep manipulating the tickers with their banks and buddies and keep the short exposure open, never realizing a gain, so therefore no taxes!

I'm thinkin rate hikes stop around now, if not soon. Inflation relatively alright, and with the big thing that many people cast their opinions on coming up, it's a safe bet there ain't gonna be any big hikes till then. Market will probably look like a giant dead cat bounce on a much longer timeline but a fun ride for the next few months for sure

 

It may not go much higher but its also probably going to stay at the current levels for quite a while.
