if the hourly candle closes below this trendline (orange) i'm adding 1/3 of my short swing position. it doesnt mean price can't go higher to 3850, i jsut want to make sure that i already have a short position in place. if we go higher, i will then add another 1/3 at 3820-3850.
trendline is from 2007 high to precovid high 2020

 

ffs i know i should sell my EQT calls, but im so bullish on them.

currently up 91% but i think they'll hit $50 this winter.

 

Sell 1/2 at 100%. Then the rest are free money.

i would do this. then pick it back up on a pullback since you're pretty bullish and that gap up will be filled sooner or later.

this move mitigates risk and lock in profits.
