used car gonna flood the market soon especially with int rates at $6-7% on new cars, used cars probalby 8-10%.

I got a solid like 500% flip on HTZ in early pandemic times.

yeah, with rental companies the problem is they buy them (lease? IDFK), rent them out for about 25-30k miles/2 years, and then sell them into the used market. They now r fuk.

I think a looooot of people and institutions are going to take '22 as a losses year, and then see recovery in '23. Other than oil, XOM is almost double my sell goal from it's bottom in '20.

 

you'd sell XOM? how much you holding? people retire on those dividends lol

 

I already flipped it. I'd have to look at the exact dates but I ran 35-70$ ish.

With reinvesting dividends, XOM doesn't get you significantly further ahead than VTSAX/SP500 funds. This is why I bailed on it and didn't worry about it. It's nice, but whole picture, one less headache and about the same returns.

 

took $SPY calls at 377.7 break above on the 15m close. just 5 contracts as i'm bearish long term. stop is a 15m close below 377.7. we've been hovering below 377.7 for a long time, that now will serve as support. currently up $230, target is 381 and am out.
