Here’s a terrible pic of my SolidWorks computer. Yes I didn’t do the peel yet, and I still need to plug the USB cable into the wraith cooler to control the colors.

You see the drone video of it? Lol. Hilarious

In other news I stopped at this section in target today and could only laugh. My gf was rather confused. Can I afford the top of the line now? Yes. But it will feel that much better when Kenny buys it for me

Since you guys have been talking about this i learned the family toaster oven also does air fry, however i haven't used it yet. These are top dog. Fits half pans for lasagna, ziti, cakes; we don't really even use our oven. Reliable af compared to previous stuff we've had, and it gets used like 5 times a day erryday for various cooking

I just went through a fabrication school to learn suspension geometry and basic metal fabrication to build offroad stuff.
I had Really intended on taking their CNC/solid works class
But the curriculum in my program ended up leaving a lot desired for someone who’s already passionate in the field
And the CNC program was even more so still being figured out.

so as to not blow my GI bill funds I passed

    but
I’m still in the process of designing/building a lot of aspects on the non profit prerunner and I really have the interest in solid works
Just don’t know where to start

I’d love to find a great online program
And if you’re offering any of your own experience I will gladly soak it up like a sponge

I’ve done some basic work in autocad, rhino and tinker cad
But I’d like to be on a level of designing fished quality parts
And right now I’m still at
Square block goes in square hole level of work

Hey you should keep that in mind when you're near the end of your degree. Sometimes you can swindle some extra classes for a full work load blah blah blah evens out with financial aid full work load ect ect and reach out to the school program as well. You'd be surprised at the grants and the veterans resource center can scrape together

    I’m not currently in school.

    if anything
I’m looking for another one to enroll it

Oh dude even better. So every school has a veterans program. Some schools offer very good benefits (example half off tuition just for being a veteran) if you are paying out of pocket or your benefits, run out, or you're doing extra classes.

Example is my buddy already has a degree. He wants to change and not pursue a masters but instead get another bachelor. TA says no way, his college and veterans advocacy and some grants here and there say absolutely.

Long story short he is paying 0 to get his second bachelor degree

    “the fab school”
    Has no useful veterans benefits
And the cost of their 6mo program is 31k consuming 1 YEAR of my benefits

the program was useful to give the hands on time with the welders, but the program was not worth 31k

    and actually
They didn’t give me my degree claiming that I was 21 hours short of my graduation even after passing the final

When I moved to San Antonio I was actually hoping to find a solid works or similar program to enroll in

especially since with “covid” even online classes constitute full time on campus BAH

    I’m still currently looking

Oooof fuck that it's a trade school it should've had that taken care of. You should reach out to the parent campus and look for the veterans group. Should be a short conversation with the counselor and pointed in the right direction. Don't be shy about it too that's how people get taken advantage of and you won't get to exercise your full benefits.

Plus the veterans group should be tuned into the ins and outs and can save you alot of time, effort, headache, and money

Edit: if you're in Kentucky you should reach out to Campbell or Knox and they might be able to help ya out too

If you're in Texas they have the veterans programs on lock. You should not be getting jerked around as that state is very supportive and has phenomenal veterans benefits

What do you need to learn that you can't learn from making mockups with pvc/carboard and from reading a few books and in depth threads on truck suspension? A few companies even make link and lt mount kits all you gotta do is measure up the spots to put them. It ain't rocket science
Edit: also most of the stuff is right there in the thousands of pics of new trophy trucks and true prerunners that get posted all over ig and forums, just do what they do and make sure the geometry works

i meant the whole program was lacking
    Not specifically the suspension portion
    If anything
That was the best part, learning Ackerman theory and inclination angles was dope
and the trade school I was at was a private school
They were their own singular campus
No vet network within to help with the schools drama
I mostly just wrote off the whole experience.

    but
As for moving into solid works or auto cad programs
I am just hunting for a program that actually sounds semi tailored towards my interest and I just haven’t found one quite yet

I watched this unfold live and goddammit am I proud of those idiots. Even if it's a nothing burger the entertainment value was/is through the roof.

News trickling into superstonk from Netherlands with similar gMaps population spikes and lit up bank building. Apparently they have a strict curfew in place there and these bankers are breaking it... On a weekend...

Make of it what you will but my man tiddies are fully jacked.

Breville is overpriced and overengineered which makes it perfect for TacoGang.

This is a backhanded endorsement by the way. Not owning a microwave (they suck at, like, everything after all) the Breville ToasterKingMasterChef IV is definitely on my purchase list.
