Hi there, I’m new and happy to become a member. I have a question to ask. After hours of research and bothering people on Instagram I’m wondering what is the largest tire size I can equip with a wheel at O mm offset 17x8.5 and have no rubbing or cutting needed.
Example of the tire is Toyo AT3.

    Second question has two parts:
    1. What lift kit do I get if I want anywhere between 2 - 3 inch lift front and rear from Bilstein?
    2. With that lift kit and the same wheel 17x8.5, 0 mm offset, what tire size can I max out on without having any rubbing or needing cutting for the AT3.

Appreciate it. The wheel I’m discussing is primarily due to the low stock of other SCS wheels and limited sizes from method racing. Also, my main intentions with this truck is to enjoy some family time with the boy s and do some minor trails along with primarily highway commute all year round.

    I have method 316s which are 0mm and 17x8.5
With 265/70/17 wildpeaks I had to remove the mud flaps & heat mold the fender liners a bit
Still rub on the fender lines and even cab mount slightly with wheels turned going over a bump or dip
It's not terrible and hasn't had any negative effects so far
With that offset and wheel width if you want no rubbing at all you'll probably have to stay with stock size
    265/70/16 or 265/65/17

Thank guys. I’m assuming that the 2021 Tacoma is a 3rd gen truck and I found this article that is just amazing along with all the help from this forum. Here’s the link for all interested.

    https://***************/2020/02/20/largest-tire-size-guide-3rd-gen-tacoma/

Lol it doesn’t go to link for some reason

Now I just have to figure out which Bilsteins to equip for the front and rear to get 2-3 in lift. They dont come as a set so it’s a bit confusing.

You need to call a company that sells and lifts trucks for a living. They will help you.

https://www.headstrongoffroad.com/ is a great site to check out. They have very knowledgeable people and full kits listed with more in depth options that just one kit fits all.
