    I agree, but the same goes for tire size. Stating 285 means nothing without knowing aspect ratio and rim diameter.

    I have 16x8 -25 off set wheels with 285 75 16. I'm rubbing the cab mount really badly so I took these off and put my stocks back on. I do plan to CMC but I'm thinking I want to go to a zero off set 16x8 and 255 85 16. That set up in theory could mean I don't have to do the cmc correct? Would the skinner and tire futher in make it not handle as well? In my head wider and lower handles better. I don't want a set up where I'm constantly having to correct the wheel on long highways. I "think" I'd like the look better narrower and off roading I assume it would perform better. Though I have no complaints in that department. It wheels like a mountain goat.
