Next outing was with some buddies from the Colorado Land Cruiser group. We camped out a few days and hit Beaver Lake, Cottonwood Pass, Crystal Mill, Devil's Punchbowl, and LeadKing. It was a blast.

Finished up building my 160ah battery (1.92Kw) or ~1920wh. Been working on the correct setup for charging, but the box is taking me longer than I had planned. Still needs wired up, but the battery works great.

Then off again, back to Idaho. It had been at least 20 years since I had been down to Brueau Canyon. So I went, picked up my dad and we Ran Bruneau Canyon, Indian HotSprings, took several hikes, caught some fish, did some chuckar hunting, Stopped in Jarbage Nevada, headed over Bear Creek Summit and then back into Idaho and home again. Oh yea, while we were in the Canyon we were buzzed several times by a couple of F18s and the next morning some A10s. It was pretty freaking cool seeing them come down through the canyon right over us. The last night we had a nice show as they were practicing maneuvers and popping flares.

Since I didn't post anything from our Moab I guess I'll "rewind" and post up now. There were so many places we went in that week the photos just can't capture it all. I grabbed some quick ones for a couple of sets. Moab is just one place where wheelin' is so different from everywhere else.

My son picked up a 3d printer so I thought I would try a design project. It turned out ok for my first go I think.

... also made a few more upgrades to the original solar generator. Works in the Truck and in my pop-up camper all I have to do is change the solar power source.

I have been remiss in posting my travels also... Had a family trip about a month ago with my daughter. She traded in her Xterra for a Subaru. So we go to places a bit more tame now. (She traded the Xterra because it had "reliability issues" and she wanted better MPG for back and forth to University in Arkansas).

This is just outside of Florissant off of a county road. We didn't see many people and went as far as we could untill her car could not make it past an obstical.

I have realized I stopped taking as many photos and am getting them mixed into one folder. Sort of a bummer, but I guess I'm getting old and just enjoying the trips as opposed to posting on instagram and capturing shots with my phone. Here are some shots around Argintene Pass.

I am sure I have missed a few, but next up should be Silverton and Ouray and some trails in the SanJuans in September... just have a bunch of crap to change up and work on before I head out.
