Hey did you trim the tabs on the housing off too? I was thinking of trying to make it to where you put it in and twist it to semi-lock in place. Dab some silicon in a couple places to hold it in place.

I just siliconed it. Not my first go to... I thought it would be the same connect/twist deal but it wasn’t. I’m sure could find something that would fit...

I didn't have to modify the light housings at all. I'm running my marker/turn signal off my mirror light controller I make.

Do you have a write up for this mod? I'm digging the way the turn signals turn to driving lights

Well I plan to actually put fog lights in the original turn signals so I'll be moving it up to the corners. Using the 7443 socket will do the trick.

It's pretty simple but you need one of my controllers. I could work on a write up.

Sounds like your not getting it to slide in all the way.

    Did you adjust your headlights???
There’s only 1 screw and the rest slides in. Maybe take it off and put it back on...?

I did that awhile ago, but from what I remember it didn’t fit and I’m sure you can cut it so you can semi stwist it on but I just purely siliconed it. Dang I sound 1/2 assed...

I might be trying to resurrect the dead here but I’m getting ready to do this mod over the weekend and was curious to see if anybody did something cool with the running lights after they relocated

I disconnected my DRLs aswell. I’m assuming your going to be running Amber pods. Are those bright enough to get you pulled over? For example; if you are across an intersection from a cop? Or are they not blindingly obvious?
