This kit will allow you to turn your corner markers on your 01-04 Tacoma into turn signals. Also with this kit you can change the different style modes when you turn on your signals, like hyper mode, bling mode or pulse mode. I had a guy make me this kit in Ca. He has one of this kits on his 04 Tacoma and has made other kits for other people. I never got to install this kit because I sold my truck soon after I got the kit. I comes with instructions, and 12 feet of wire and brand new VLED switchback bulbs. Payed over $55 for the bulbs alone. This means you can turn your lower turn signals into driving lights or fog lights and turn signals at same time. When the turn signals arn't on it lights up 6000k and then when the turn signals are on its amber in color. There is a video on you tube of how this looks on a truck. For the kit and VLED bulbs $70 shipped anywhere in the U.S.

Link to the YouTube Vid? Wouldn't it be easier to just swap the turn signal and the parking light wires?

I guess you could. This kit lets you change the modes and by switching the wires you can't. The user N6EAJ has videos of what the kit looks like on the truck and how easy to install the kit.

although this is a nice setup i drilled 1 inch holes in the corner lights and had enough slack to pull the lights up and delete the lights from down below altogether

What did you use to drill the holes?

Sway-Away racerunners up front, Downey leafsprings (5 pack) and Bilstein 5125's in back, 2" body lift, K&N/AEM air intake, Energy Bushings, Nology plug wires, Custom front/rear bumpers and sliders. Downey header and custom exhuast from there back.
Would this work on my 98?

I have an aftermarket bumper so the lower turn signals (that were mounted to the original bumper) have been eliminated. The wires that ranto those turn signals are still present and I was getting ready to do the "add a bulb" method to the corner lights to make them the turn signals as well.
