'01-04 Hidden Winch w/Stock Bumper; I need one

Just as long as I'm passed out and the winch plate/mount is done I'm good

 

Let's be clear, I'm not promising anything yet, but what kind of time frame would you looking at?

Lol no pressure. Really, I'm good to wait a few months just because of "life". I just have this son of a bitch sitting by my patio door though -

 

Bring that winch, if you hold on to it real tight, you should be fine.

Is that the VR10 or the 8?

 

Yeah forget about welding at home then. My cheapo 115v flux machine would throw a standard 15 amp breaker. Needed 20 amps, and even then I couldnt weld long.

Installed a 230v dedicated circuit in the garage and a new hobart machine to ammend that issue haha.

 

Well Ryan's got gaffers tape, I'll be using scotch, a Duncan yoyo as a snatch block, and old speaker wire on alligator clips to power the winch so I think we're set.

i really want a plate front bumper, but realistically that is a ways off. if someone ended up making these for a reasonable cost i would probably be in for one. tacoma front bumper looks good as is and this design hides really well.

 

Yeah, as I mentioned there are a few that have made them before but for their own truck.

For me, in the end it's less about the cost but more about all the extra weight that'll go up front, and having an obtrusive front end in comparison to the stock bumper.

 

Well if cost is no option, come on over!

I can't do that with anyone under any circumstance.

Daily it since I got rid of one of the Corvettes.

I just don't want something sticking so far out like an aftermarket bumper.

I work 80 hours a week and help take care of my 82 year old father in law while the significant other is in college full time.
