    They are painted up and ready to go. I think the satin black I used will match the black of the mesh. I just want to get some nylon washers for the back to cushion the metal to metal. I will have to stop at HD and see what they have in the drawers this weekend.

    That must have been better than having to completely drop it.
    I take it you just bent back the hood release 1/2" and you were good?
