Countycomm.com is an awesome website for all the cool gadgets and gismos having to do with army surplus and EDC. Might even venture to say 'Bondish' gismos. Issue is that their shipping rates are heinous. Over the years I have purchased many things form them and many of my peers have done the same after seeing what I am using.

Posted a quick pic of my keychain and there was some interest here. In the all in one key fob thread for our trucks. \

    190c3edd8104a5f6023b4b5b0e89ae76_33b3ccc80a1915861dbafbf9e8bd9f58042a649f.jpg

My handwriting is horrible. Left to right.

    - Titanium Capsule with magnets
    - titanium ring
    - SS (stainless steel) Sailing Shackles
    - Fob
    - dot
    - no peaking
    - lighter

Anyways. The links to what I am using are here.

    -

What I am proposing is this. Most of the smaller items like the key rings are in packages of 3. If you only want one? Well, you have to pay the $15 shipping plus the cost of 3 @ $6.95 or whatever it is. Turns out to discourage lots of people.

Basically I am ordering a bunch of things for myself and some late gifts for friends. If anyone wants to get anything on the site, post up here, and i'll add it all to my cart and order everything. Then reship to you using USPS at the cheaper rate. Not going to make any money off anyone. Just hoping to save some people money on shipping and get some cool factor in our gear.

Letting this ride through the weekend, then monday at noon, I will order whatever the final tally is.

If you only want 1 key ring or something like that, let me know. Post it up. I'll split the cost up and ship as inexpensive as possible.

Put the link up for the items you want and I'll add it. Besides the 35mm Ti ring that is.

I like these peanut lighters and split pea lighters. Basically they are a Zippo with an O ring so the fuel doesn't evaporate. I filled mine up 8 months ago, used it a couple times for various tasks and it still lights. That is it in the OP.

Some of the titanium pry bars come in handy.

These I am using for a buddy and a couple friends that are on medication. Tired of chasing around their pill bottles all the time so I am going to attach one of these to each of them for that very reason. An emergency stash on their jacket and backpack zippers. There are plenty of other uses for these. I just have a plan and think they will get a kick out of them. I would have gotten the TI version too. Just can't find it anymore. The site is not the easiest to navigate.

Link for the clear ones. http://www.countycomm.com/picopullclear.html
There is black, red, brass, etc.

One of the things I do like about them is this. They have most of their items in different materials and metals. SO if you were going with a theme, of say an all TI setup. Easily done. Or Copper or brass for that matte. SS and AL too.

The EDC pens are nice. They are a Fischer Space Pen insert and then a solid body metal pen that can be used for self defense.

How useful are the little pry bars? I've always wondered about them. Seemed like the size of them is really too small to use?

They are small enough and powerful enough to pry open a car door when you leave your keys in it. Use your t-shirt so you do not scratch the paint and your antennae off the truck to open the door. MANNNY times have I done this for people. I used to have one of the mini 'Wonder Bar' brand pry bars from the hardware store made of steel. This TI one is nice and small, light too.

Used it to open the house once. hammered it into a log to split logs a couple times when we were camping and forgot the hatchet and wedge.

Used it when I was installing my roof rack for better leverage where I wanted to get the one side up. Re-aligned my LCA when I did the Billet UCA's -

Sometimes a screwdriver just isn't the right size to use as a pry bar.

yeah i like the prybars too. i wish i could justify a mini grappling hook lol but the lighter is a great idea. ill check it out and think about it. with all these key products coming out i want to simplify what i carry on my carabiner but that also gives me room for more edc stuff :spy:

Those slim titanium whistles are great too. My son used it over the summer when we were hiking. he was tooting on it like you would for a bear whistle. Pisses off the wife woo when they are running around with it in the house.

He has the Tweezers too. Pulling ticks off your body sucks. These are thin and small, just the right size. and barely weigh anything ..

Neat gadgets, but I tend to avoid companies that drastically over charge shipping rates. Shows a flaw in character to me, and that's not someone I like to conduct business with.
