It does take a lot of wiring, fabricating, and welding to make it fit. It'll be well worth it once I get it all up and running.

Here are the seat bottoms with the seat control ECU, motors, sensors, and airbag components.

The mounting system for these seats are based off the chassis of Toyota manufactured sedans (ie: Lexus ES, LS, GS & Toyota Avalon and Camry).

I got the driver's chair hooked up last night to a battery. Most of the power functions work except for a few, it'll take some tweaking but all the basic functions are there.

If you do this UNPLUG THE GODDAMN AIRBAG HARNESS I can't stress enough how important this step is. A lot of older luxury cars and more commonly today standard sedans, trucks, and SUV's have airbags commonly found in the seats. If you accidentally apply 12v to the wrong wires you're gonna have a bad time.

Afraid that will make your seat to high. I think your best bet is to do like @Madjik_Man did. Just transfer the end brackets over from Tacoma to your new seats.

That's what I was afraid of... it would be nearly impossible to get passengers into the back of my extended cab though. The seats don't recline or slide forward nearly as much.

Let me think on this. You could hinge the front but anchoring the back secure enough is critical.

Nope they’re still sitting in my garage. Lol. Got sidetracked on other projects.

I'm about to take on a XB seat swap but found your thread. You're making me reconsider using the XB seats! haha

I did find these http://www.plantedtechnology.com/pr...et-toyota-tacoma-1995-5-2004-driver-left.html brackets that might help any of us going through with a seat swap project. But they aren't cheap :(

It was cheaper for me to buy actual Tacoma seats, cut the brackets off, and part the seats out. I actually made more money selling the seat cushion on the driver’s side than what I paid for it.

    I see.
Tough to find seats before anyone swoops them up at P&P. I'm still waiting on another XB to show up the yards.
