I been reading around on this-seems Toyota was factory installing 3 Densos on one side and 3 NGKs on the other?! I didnt see a rock solid answer why though. Chris, you think that this, as well as the need for twin grounded plugs has anything to do with the coilpaks with the piggyback wires to the other side?? Or the fact that it's a 'hemi' with 4 valves like Her Name Is Lucy said? I'd like to know-also-Will-was it easy to do the plugs? I'd like to do mine myself too:)

Hey, Buddy! Plug change is easy as pie! I figured that the NGK's have a little more resistance, which is why they are on the other side, but I have always used the Densos on all 6 cyl. and never had problems.

Ah so you think they did it to compensate for the resistance of the piggybacks?

    getting there....
hey uncle frank:D.....very easy to do brotha. the driver side was a little more time consuming than the passenger side, since we moved some brackets out of the way, but it was still easy nonetheless. passenger side is cake though. and be sure to use some anti seize on the threads. :D

like tiger said...easy, but we did wash some mud off the engine compartment on his truck before we started.:D
