01 taco door speaker question

    a couple moths ago my right door speaker quite working and now my left quit working but the rear speakers work. any ideas why? i have a aftermarket head unit in the truck.

    Pull out the HU and check your connections. If they aren't soldered, shrink wrapped and taped it would be a good idea to do so. I'm assuming you're running the stock speakers.

    Before the speakers quit working did they sound like crap for awhile? Static sound etc? They could be blown.
