01 Tacoma abs reset

    I'm having trouble resetting the abs light on my 01tacoma 3.4L limited I've tried like 6 different scan tools and none of the will communicate

    Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
    ABS light on means that your ABS system isn't working. Clearing the code isn't going to fix the problem. In my opinion, you are probably better off without ABS working anyway, it's a dangerous faulty setup in these trucks. I find it safer to drive without it personally.

    Both of my cousins' truck 03 and 04 are having the same issue abs lights on, one was replaced with new cable light go away for a week then come back, light keep coming on and off dude don't even know what to do so leave it alone.

    My ABS light is on too. But the reason why is when I was changing my CV's I zip tied my brake calipers to the UCA and the zip tie broke yanking the ABS sensor out of alignment.

    I already jumped the code it read 32 and that was the left front speed sensor so I changed it and now just need to reset the hard code stored. So I think in my situation clearing the code will work. 2004tacomasr5

    I just had a lift kit installed on my taco and the abs/traction control lights are on now. I don't feel like going to the dealer to have them fix it when I know its just the lines. Can anybody put a how to on changing or trouble shooting this problem?
