01 xtra cab speaker size

Im wanting to replace the factory rear speakers

Does anyone know what size speakers are in the side walls in the xtra cab

I dont want to give up the xtra cab space and put in a sub or anything like that

Im hoping they are 6 inch, so I can just drop in some 6 inch mid/subs

I just wanna get a lil better sound from the factory system

 

Wow 6x8, that`s an oddball size

Im not saying I dont believe you, that was just kind of crazy for them to use that size

I checked it out and that`s what it says 6x8

I will come up with something, maybe modify the panel inside for a 6 or 6.5 to fit
