Has anyone done this swap before. I have a local guy who is selling his. Hes built quite a few bikes and I am trying to figure out what issues I should be looking for when checking out the bike. It has suspension for an '02 on the 01 frame and a motor out of a 14.

No idea. But unless its a really good deal id skip. If it was done right then itd use everything needed to run from the 14 anyways so i cant imagine thats an issue.

Ah. Thats not terrible. Although i bought my 2010 yz25f0f for around that price. Granted youre getting fuel injected as well. Id say go take a look and if it looks like mounts were done well there really shouldnt be any issues.

Keep in mind though that some parts may not be off the shelf for a swap like that? Id get details like if radiator hoses came from which model/stuff like that.
